my third attempt. and not tired of it. yet.
favourite recipe:300g golden caster sugar
250g unsalted butter
250g chocolate (at least 70% cocoa solids)
3 large eggs plus 1 extra yolk
60g cocoa powder
60g plain flour
½ tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
to do:1. pre heat oven at 180C
2. chop some choc and double boil the rest in a bowl
3. cream the butter and sugar til white and fluffy
4. in another bowl, lightly beat the eggs and slowly add to the butter and sugar, with mixer still running
5. pour the melted and chopped chocolate into the mixture
(flour, butter, eggs)6. sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt. fold into the mixture.
7. bake for 30minutes
(poke the centre with toothpick, it should be softer than the edge. it will solidify when cool)8. let it cool for about 10 minutes
p/s: recipe can be modified here and there. like instead of 50g, i chopped one bar of van houtten choc. kalau tak suke bnyk sgt chocolate, kurang kan. gula pun! if u like it sweet, like marinah, sprinkle castor sugar on top of the brownie.
